Full Stack Engineer (Security Platform) - Capture The Bug

Help us rebuild how penetration testing actually works. Capture The Bug is a modern Penetration Testing as a Service (PTaaS) platform used by fast-growing startups and enterprises across ANZ. We’re replacing outdated, PDF-driven pentests with a continuous, developer-first security workflow. We’re looking for a strong full stack engineer who wants to build a real product in cybersecurity—not just ship tickets.

-Build and scale our core PTaaS platform (dashboards, reporting, vuln workflows) -Design and ship clean APIs powering real-time security insights -Improve how customers discover, triage, and fix vulnerabilities -Work on multi-tenant, secure systems handling sensitive data -Collaborate directly with founders on product + engineering decisions -Continuously improve performance, reliability, and developer experience Tech Stack -Frontend: React (SPA) -Backend: Node.js / Python -Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, etc.) -Infra: Docker, Terraform (IaC) -CI/CD: GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps -Database: SQL (PostgreSQL or similar)

-3+ years of strong experience building full stack SaaS products -Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture (Azure preferred) -Experience with APIs, async systems, and scalable backend design -Comfortable working with CI/CD, containers, and modern DevOps practices -Strong SQL/data skills -Experience running and maintaining production systems Bonus (but valuable) -Exposure to security, pentesting, or vulnerability management -Experience building developer tools or technical SaaS products -Familiarity with secure coding practices and handling sensitive data How You Work -You take ownership-you don’t wait to be told what to do -You care about product, not just code -You communicate clearly and challenge ideas when needed -You move fast, but don’t break things that matter -You’re always looking to simplify and improve systems
