Source Code Review Analyst

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Security Consultant specializing in Source Code Review to join our dynamic team. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a profound understanding of cybersecurity principles, and a strong proficiency in key programming languages to ensure the utmost security standards are met.

Expertise in OWASP Top 10: You should have a solid understanding of the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, with the ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate these risks effectively. Web/Mobile Application Source Code Review: You will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of web and mobile application source codes, identifying security flaws, and suggesting improvements. Checkmarks Tool Experience: Proficiency in using the Checkmarks tool is crucial for performing automated security scans of source code efficiently and effectively. Manual Code Review: Alongside automated tools, you should possess substantial experience in manually reviewing code to uncover hidden vulnerabilities that automated tools might miss. Proficiency in Programming Languages: A strong grasp of programming languages such as Java, .Net, and Swift is essential to understand the nuances of code and detect potential security issues.

Additional Skills: Buffer Overflow Identification: You must be skilled in finding buffer overflow vulnerabilities within code, understanding the potential impact, and suggesting preventative measures. Comprehensive OWASP Knowledge: You should not only know the OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities but also be proficient in manually writing and discovering them in code. Qualifications: A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in Source Code Review and cybersecurity. A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Certifications in cybersecurity (such as OSCP, CEH) would be advantageous. Demonstrated experience with Java, .Net, and Swift in a security context.
